Mr. D, otherwise known as Shawn Dangerfield has been a star for many years now. Starting in Middle School. He started Quarterback and Strong Safety in 5th, 6th and 7th grade. By 8th grade, all the coaches new his talent level was huge. They wanted to move him to Varsity starer when he was still in middle school. Unfortunatly, the conference didn't allow this, so he was placed on the Junior Varsity Team. He started QB and SS there as well. By his freshman year in High School, He made himself the starting SS. He did, however get beat out for starting QB. Dangerfield made the most of his opportunity. He totaled 195 tackles in his 4 years as starter, also had 25 sacks, 8 INTs, 6 FF, 3 FR and scored twice defensivly. He was highly recruited. Top schools included Iowa, Penn State, Minnesota, Ohio State, and his choice, the Wisconsin Badgers. In his 4 years starting for the Badgers he totaled 339 tackles, 12.5 sacks, 2 INTs, 3 FF, 4 FR, and 2 TDs. It seems like Dangerfield has always been a Big Playmaker and a leader wherever he is playing at. Being the Leader of the defense, he has earned the nickname "Mr. D"
Through one season of FSL, Mr. D lead the entire league in tackles with 61 total tackles. He also had 1 sack, 1 INT, 3 FF, 1 FR, and a few deflections. He was named defensive player of the week for week 3 and was selected to the first anual FSL Pro Bowl roster. He helped lead the Thunder to their first FSL Championship. With the game tied, Dangerfield forced a Key fumble forced to turn all momentum to the Thunder. From then on, it was a runaway victory. Who knows what he can achieve next season after he trains more and improved his mental and physical gameplay
