All of our players are under contract, though the following options are in place for Season 3:
Wilt: player option
Bashum: player/GM mutual option
Beast: player option
Baker: player/GM mutual option

Dave Wilt, Player Option, Dawgs

Ned Bashum, mutual option, Dawgs
Ray Lewis, Player Option, Cougars
J.J. Jacobsen, Mutual Option, Cougars
If people have a mutual option/player option and do not publically accept that they want to come back, they are put into free agency, and if they do not publically accept a contract, then they remain in free agency. (This is a way to weed out the inactive players)

In the NFL free agency is before AND after the draft. If you're not signed before the draft, it's not like that's the end of the road.
