Way before this became a cool thing to do, my parents decided they liked the name "Michael" but hated the way it was spelled, because it was not phonetically correct. So they came up with an alternative... which was even LESS phonetically correct. I've gotten so sick of everyone mispronouncing my name over the years that I've just simplified it to Mike, and nobody uses my given name except my family. How do they spell it? |
