Two new expansion teams were unveiled today, according to commissioner Da Bearfan. The first one, the Colorado Cougars, will have a general manager of Ray Lewis, and the second team, the Orlando Dawgs, will have a general manager of Mike McKee. Bearfan reportedly said, "I am very glad that these two dedicated players have stepped up and taken the responsibility of being general managers." The expansion draft should be taking place tomorrow.

The amount of players each team is able to take off of the expansion draft goes as follows: Team Players : Protect 75% 80% 85% Thunder 13 : 10 11 12 Sharks 16 : 12 13 14 Surge 14 : 11 12 12 Xplosion 11 : 9 9 10 | Team | Total Players | Players you can protect from being drafted | | Hawaii | 13 | 11 | | Ohio | 12 | 10 | | Los Angeles | 11 | 9 | | Chicago | 16 | 12 |
Hawaii and Ohio both have one less total player due to them becoming GM's, but it will not cost them a protection spot. |

Players Hawaiian Surge choose to protect: Ladainian Vick, Ryan Lipton, Doctor Doc, Peter Schust, Joe Jackson, Ray Smith, Mark Reid, John Smith, Derrick Johnson, Trav Man, and Zach Csonka.

Only team that hasn't posted there protected players is the thunder and it looks like there will only be 9 players in the expansion draft
