The Orlando Dawgs are pleased to announce the following transactions:
I, Gino DeBomb, have been named assistant general manager. While I do not currently possess the rights to act in a full capacity (only Dabearfan can give them to me) I will nevertheless function in that capacity as much as possible until the league commissioner can make it official. This promotion comes from an instant rapport with the general manager in pre-draft conversations. We found an instant concordance with our philosophies, and I'm proud to be working in tandem with one of the best minds in the game.
As my first official act as assistant GM, I'm proud to announce the signing of Peyton Carter, who has agreed to convert to cornerback and play alongside the best in the league. He will be an asset to our team for years to come.
The Dawgs will continue to aggressively pursue free agent linebackers to fill out our 3-4 scheme. We may also have interest in a slot receiver, though that luxury will not be addressed until after the linebacker situation is resolved. Any free agents interested in playing for Orlando may make me their primary contact.
