War'll never stop, there will always be some guy who thinks his life is best served blowing up, and itll never stop, we should all just leave them or like drop an A-bomb in there if you want to totally nuetralize the problem, that's the only way I can see you are so wrong it's not funny. its called karma what goes around comes around imagine if you dropped an a bomb in newyork its the same over there you think of good vs evil this war is not that ww2 was this is not good vs evil this is consequeces vs actions

So what do you suggest ESPN? We should just leave there to allow them to possibly pull another 9/11 move

i may be contradicting myself, but i believe we are just delaying civil war in iraq. as soon as we leave, they'll fight each other, and one side will strengthen, and take over, just like the USA. we had a civil war.

Tomorrow I say no games should be simmed no stats updated etc to pay tribute to 9/11. Because people died on a very sad day several years ago we need to skip anything that is fun?

the US had a civil war, and it strengthened us. i say we pull out and let them resolve their differences. the only reason they're fighting is because we're there. so why don't we pull out?

We had a civil war, but it ended and these people over there never stop fighting and in our war had the South won like they probably should have we wouldn't be near the nation we are now. We have more of our people dying daily in our nation's capitol than in Iraq.

.. they've been killing themselves long before US arrived, and besides this isn't 1800's anymore, weapons are much more powerful and can kill much more with just one accident

Because WE created a power vacuum, and nature abhors a vacuum. In this case it would be filled with the guy with the most guns. They had already, in effect, resolved their differences, but we removed the solution. If we left they'd just fight amongst themselves for a while until a new Saddam arose, and that new Saddam would be able to unify the nation in hatred towards us, for bailing out and leaving an environment conducive to all that bloodshed. It would make a terrible mistake worse.

Furthermore... any comparisons between the stability of Iraq and the US Civil War is invalid and useless. The US Civil War was fought among people who shared a common culture and values, who simply disagreed about centralized power. The various factions in Iraq have very little in common.

We don't have that many people dying over in Iraq, for a war this is nothing for casualties, in some wars we would lose more people in a day than in this whole war.
