My turn to rant

I've been on this site for a mere 2 months and have seen more bitc'ing, whining and complaining than any other site I've ever been on for any reason. I'm growing really sick of reading all of that crap. Do you guys think that maybe you could remember that this is a game and not to be taken seriously and if you want to bash Kris or Trav or whoever, please bash them in PM's so the rest of us don't have"e to deal with it. Better yet, start a whole new topic and call it the Bash Your Fellow League mates Here" or the "I Hate You" topic or something so the rest of us can be selective. If we want to read about who hates who or who is pissed off at who or who can't type or who has the higher GPA or whatever, then we can go there and do that. I didn't sign up for this league to read nothing but people whining and complaining and fighting with other members. If that's what this league has come to, I don't want to be here but I enjoy the game. It's really too bad that all of the other BS is such a distraction. I do, however, forget that I'm probably the oldest person here and I'm in a group with a bunch of teenagers and maybe some early 20 somethings but, damn-it, this has gotten ridiculous and out of control.

That is definately true, but honestly this is only about 5 out of our 300 members.

I realize that it's only a few people but a few people can ruin it for the majority. I'm sure I'll have to keep reading or skipping over this stuff cuz I'm sure they won't be banned or anything since they're very active members, which is fine and I understand that completely. But it sure would be nice to be able to come in and read stuff on here without having to skip around or be subjected to that kind of crap all the time. It's not my site and you guys are doing a good job with it and keep running it the way you see fit and I'll just have to skip around and if I miss something, I just miss it. Anyway, that's my rant and now I'm done with it now.

I completely agree up there Wicker. I tried to defend myself, but however, I did admit to my whining about a opponent simming my game. Which most don't know why, it was just a demand once I accepted the job. About me and Travis, I am completely done with him. But, when it comes to backing myself up in defense, I will do it. Hope you understand. But, nice points.

By all means defend yourself if you deem the "offending" party worthy of the effort it takes to do that. Personally, if someone wants to spend a lot of their time and energy to bitc", piss and moan about me (which apparently some in here do), they're generally not worth me wasting my time and energy to combat what they've said. They just have nothing better to do and should really try to focus more on the game at hand or maybe on GROWING THE HEL' UP!!!!! My 12 and 13 year old kids don't act this immaturely so please justify to me why 14-16 or 17 year olds do?

Wow...I've been thinking about saying exactly what you've been saying Wick! I just ignore most of it...and when I get sick of it, I try to (as maturely as possible) explain what should be happening. (I believe it was a situation with Mott) Thank you for throwing that out there. And you're not that old. I'm 27. Yeah, that's a decade...but when you have 4 kids, that decade goes far faster than summer did back in High School!

Believe me, XFL, I understand. I have 3 of my own. As I mentioned, I have a 12 yr old daughter and a 13 yr old son and a 2 yr old son. And as far as throwing this little rant out there? I had been reading some stuff and the more I read the more I wanted to quit the league altogether because of a few kids that have nothing better to do than to get on here and and try to be bad or make themselves out to be better than everyone else. In fact, what they've done is make themselves appear to be worse than everyone else by their immature behavior. I just hope I was never that bad when I was a kid. This is supposed to be a fun site where football is the game and there are a few who want to make it personal and bash a select few others. Is it really that big a deal if someone can't type that well? Is it really that big a deal if someone gets signed on to write for an online sports page? I think that's great and congrats to you, whoever it was (I foget now who it was), for getting that opportunity. Does it really matter what kind of stats you get? IT"S A FREAKIN' GAME for cryin' out loud. It's not the end of the world as we know it. If an honest mistake was made with a sim, re-sim it and move on. Don't sit around and bitc' about for days on end. Bring it to the attention of the powers that be here, they'll do their "investigation", and let them make the executive decision to re-sim or not. I can't see me losing sleep over a bad game or an honest mistake. If it's deemed that the simmer was cheating in some way, ban that person and re-sim the game. It's not that difficult and it's really not that big a deal. IF someone has a problem with another member here, DON'T FREAKIN' TALK TO THEM OR ABOUT THEM. Again, something that's not too difficult.

Let me just say 1 more thing real quickly. To the mods and GM's and the other powers that be. You guys are doing a great job and I appreciate all of the work and effort that you put into it.
