I think Webb is the frontfunner right now but Penny will overtake him in wins and close the gap in ERA.

Webb sucks and Penny will get more wins and a better ERA easy...

It will be very difficult for Penny to surpass Webb in ERA. Webb would have to struggle and Penny would have to be on from here on out.

Webb is definently winning right now out of the three i see as top canidates so far the other two our Zambrono and Penny. Webb right now leads in least loses, ERA,CG,Shoutouts,ER,HBP,least Walks, and opponents on base percentage, and the best walks per 9 inning ratio. Then Zambrono he leads in Games Started,Least hits allowed, most strikeouts, opponents sluging percentage,Ks per 9 ratio, oppnents average and hits per 9 ratio. Then Penny he leads in least runs allowed and thats it. So right now its Webb, Zambrono, Penny.

i can tell you one thing i love the cubbies helped get the sox Orlando cabrera and win the 04 series and lost to us in 1912. but the american league will win this year considering the mets got swept by the red sox who are at best the third or fourth best team in the A.L. and I'm a diehard sox fan

The AL is defenitly better right now but that does not mean the NL wont win the World Series. There are always upsets. The Marlins, twice, the D-Backs, Angels were all underdogs. Thats just who comes to mind right now. I'm sure there are plenty more teams who were recent underdogs and beat "stronger" teams.

At this very moment, I would say Webb for the Cy in the NL (although I hope Penny can catch him) and Johan Santana in the AL (Santana, Halladay, and Justin Verlander are pretty much in a 3 way tie, but Santana has a huge lead on them both in Ks)

Sox will win the AL East since A-Rod has been sucking as of late.

I think the Red Sox are on the outside looking in this year. They could be SOL if they dont win the division. They better win 3 of the next 4 or the yankees might cruise the rest of the way.

the sawx are in a time of the year that they always struggle in. it's just too bad that the yankees had to be scheduled in that stretch.
