You know the problem with this is it's Week 4. People can post in here, then go inactive for the rest of the year. I'm just saying. I'm not sure if that really represents a problem, though. Players can go inactive for long stretches of time without it necessarily hurting the team. I think our own example of flledge illustrates that perfectly. He's been inactive for a while, but he has spent his money, his player is up to date, and as a result he's still one of the top safeties in the league. High activity is desired, because it makes the league more fun, and more active people can improve their players better by doing stats and helping out. But we definitely have a place for more casual players, too. |

Yeah, but sometimes you sign a guy to a 3-4 year deal because he looks active, and you never see him again.
Maybe what we should do is have a designated time in the offseason where GMs can elect to release inactive players from their rosters with no cap charges for next season. Then we just define what constitutes "inactive." That would clear a lot more roster space for new guys.
