Kickoff - From the 10, returned to the 27.
1st down - Lucas step sback, throws it 20 yards down the field, and it's caught! Banks with the catch in between Nowak and Raginsky.
End of Q1
1st down - Lucas steps back, throws it... Overthrown. He could've had a nice run after the catch if it had been on target, there was no one in front of him.
2nd down - Lucas takes it again, throws it to the sideline, Banks gets it again for 12 yards.
1st down - Handoff to Clayton, up the middle for nothing.
2nd down - Pitch left to Clayton, picks up 4.
3rd down - Lucas takes it, rollout right, throws it to the sideline, Reggie Williams makes the catch, nearly steps out of bounds but somehow avoids it, his defenders are stuck inside of him, and he manages to go the rest of the way for the... Touchdown! 32 yards!
XP is up, and it's good!

1st down - Handoff to Clayton, up the middle for 14.
1st down - Lucas steps back, lobs it hard to the left sideline, Clayton catches it in the flat, Kaplan dives to tackle him but Clayton shruggs him off, and runs down to the 1, is tackled on his way into the endzone, yet somehow they rule him down at the 1? I'm checking this out on instant replay... That was definitely a TD. How could they not rule it that way? Whatever. They have the ball placed on the goal line too.........
1st and goal - Lucas steps back, throws it right, Sundine is wide open, but drops it. It was a sure touchdown.
2nd down - Lucas on the PA, rollout left, throws it in the back left corner of the endzone, where Fitzgerald is just sitting there. Moos got faked out by that PA fake. It's caught, for a... Touchdown!
XP is up, and it's good!

Kickoff - From the 12, returned to the 23.
1st down - Handoff to Watson, he starts out on the left side when the ball is handed off to him, but goes between the center and the right tackle, weaves his way through 3 defenders, keeps going... Uses his speed.... Goes all the way into the endzone for a.... Touchdown! 77 yard TD run!
XP is up, and it's good!

Kickoff - From the whatever, returned to the 45.
1st down - Lucas steps back, throws it deep, almost intercepted.... Scarlin couldn't hold on. Intended for Reggie.
2nd down - Lucas steps back, gets rushed, has to get rid of it quickly.... Batted down by the line, incomplete.
3rd down - Lucas steps back, takes his time, and it's a... Sack!
4th down and 14 - Punt is up, from the 25, Watson returns it to the 32.

1st down - Manning steps bakc, throws it deeeeeeeep into double coverage, and it's... Dropped. Not by the WR, by the CB.
2nd down - Handoff to Watson, he gets up the middle quickly for 8 yards.
3rd down - Manning steps back, throws it over the middle... Almost intercepted. These guys need some hands.
4th down - Punt is up, fair catch at the 16.

1st down - Toss right to Clayton, and he gets 3 on the outisde.
2nd down - Handoff to Clayton, he goes between the right tackle and guards for 5 yards.
3rd down and 3 - Lucas gets it off right as the 2M mark approaches, throws it to Reggie, and he gets it past the marker for the first.
2M Warning
1st down - Lucas steps back, throws it to the sideline, and it's caught for 18 yards.
1st down - Lucas steps back, takes his time, and it's a... Sack! The 4-3 Defense Chicago is using is working for getting pressure.
2nd down and 16 - Shotgun, Lucas takes it, throws it for about 7 yards over the middle to Williams and he catches it.
TO LAm 1M left
3rd down - Shotgun, Lucas takes it, 4 WR set, PA fake.... Sack!
TO Chicago, :57 left
4th down - Punt is up, out of bounds at the 26.

1st down - Shotgun, Manning takes it, throws it deep down to the LA 20 from the Chicago 20, and yet he still over throws it!
2nd down - Shotgun, 4 WR set, Manning takes it, Watson tries to pick up the rusher but he just can't do it, and it's a... Sack!
TO LA
3rd down - Toss left to Watson, he gets leveled after a few yards.
TO LA, :40 left
4th down - Punt is up, out of bounds at the 47.

1st down - Shotgun, Lucas does a short pass to Fitz for maybe 15 yards in the middle, but he puts it too far out in front.
2nd down - 5 WR set, Lucas takes it, steps back, throws it for 9 yards, and it's complete to Reggie.
3rd down - Handoff to Clayton, he just sort of sits behind the line, I didn't think he would get it, but he found a tiny hole and got 2 yards and the first.

2nd down - Manning steps back, takes too long... Sack! Landrum was blitzing and nobody picked him up, and he got to Manning.
3rd down and 13 - 5 WR set, Manning takes it, steps back, throws a bomb.... Almost intercepted, but the CB got hit as he tried to pick it off. Incomplete.
4th down - Punt is up, from the 42, returned to the Chicago 36.

2nd down - Handoff to Clayton, dropped behind the line for a loss of 2.
3rd down - Shotgun, 4 WR set, Lucas takes it, thrwos it deep... It's caught! Almost a touchdown. Ball at the 6. Catch by Fitzgerald.
1st down - Handoff to Clayton, up the middle for 2 yards.
2nd down - Handoff to Clayton, same play, this time he loses a yard.
3rd down - Handoff again, he gets back the yard he lost last time, but that's all. Great goal line stand by the Sharks. The first bright spot all game.
4th down - 22 yard FG attempt is up, and it's good!

1st down - Manning steps back, throws it to Sexxxy, great pass and catch, and he runs upfield where he is tackled by Jenkins who was down there because Sooner had a fly pattern. 15 yards.
1st down - Handoff to Watson, goes right and picks up 3.
2nd down - 4 WR set, draw play to Watson, Up the middle for 4.
3rd down - Manning drops back, takes his time, takes too much time.... Sack!
4th down and 9 - Punt is up, out of bounds at the 18.

1st down - Handoff to Watson, goes right, gets clotheslined by Tye Williams for no gain.
2nd down - PA fake, quick pass, thrown to Sexxxy, he catches it, breaks a tackle from Williams but Landrum brings him down. Gain of 20.
1st down - Handoff to Watson, he breaks a tackle after 5, gets 4 more.
2nd and 1 from the 11 - Handoff to Watson, he gets stopped on a ferocious jumping tackle.
3rd down and inches - Thrown to the sideline, Big Sexxxy drops an easy first down.
4th down - They're going for it, handoff to Watson, he's stopped behind the line for a loss of 1.

3rd down - This is big, Chicago needs a stop, 5M left in the 4th, Lucas drops back, throws it, and it's... Caught! Ol' reliable in Reggie Williams picks up 15 on a nice catch.
1st down - Handoff to Clayton, up the middle for 2 on a delay.
2nd down - Lucas drops back, intended for Fitzgerald over the middle... Almost intercepted. Moos can't hold on.
3rd down - Handoff to Clayton, up the middle for nothing.
4th down - Punt is up, fair catch at the 22.

1st down, 3:58 left - Shotgun, Manning takes it, throws as he's hit, caught in triple coverage by Fanutz. I think it was more Manning was doubled and he was singled and they were running across each other. 1st down - Manning takes it, throws it to the sideline... And it's dropped. He was out of bounds anyways. 2nd down - Shotgun, Manning takes it, throws it to Mond, he catches it for 6 and then steps out of bounds to stop the clock. 3rd down, 3:31 left - Manning takes it, throws it... It's caught! Fanutz gets behind Leroy Jenkins on the sideline, and never looks back! He goes all the rest of the way for the touchdown! 55 yard pass. XP is up, and it's good! Chicago 17, Los Angeles 24 3:22 left, it's not over yet. And we're off to another great start.  |
