I'd agree with you if the Sharks had gotten good field position off those returns. But one was picked in the endzone for a touchback, and the other was picked at the Sharks 15. Assuming we score those touchdowns, we then turn around to kickoff to the Sharks, and they're likely to start out with better field position than the 15 and the 20. It would have meant 14 points more for us, but not 14 less for the Sharks.

Not that it's much consolation for the loss... but it appears that I set the record for passing yardage in a game here.

Yeah, I think so, Manning hits 350, 360, 330 all the time but I don't ever think he hit 400 because he always gets a big lead because he will throw like 6 TDs but in your case you had to keep throwing all game.
