You don't think fan votes are a popularity contest? You should have seen AL All-Star balloting this season, where the only player outside of NY and Boston to lead balloting for his position was Vlad Guerrero.

Leroy a lot of people like T.O and he is so great of a player you cant leave him out.. Theres a difference when a player puts up top-2 or 3 numbers in the NFL as a WR when theyre are over a hundred of them thats a lock for the Pro Bowl..

Between Sexxxy and Beast it is very close, Beast has more yards and catches I believe but Sexxxy has more TDs, YAC, and more pancakes.

YAC doesn't really matter if you have less yard in total though.. and he only has one more pancake, it should totally be Beast

Sexxxy had a big game against us in week 12 to make it close. Before then, Beast was blowing him away all season in catches and yards.

are f****** kidding me allstar voting are popularit contest each year players that are the most popular get in even though somethimes they dont deserve it. And terrell owens is one of the most popular players in the league of course he is getting in.

Listen, for the TE's...it comes down to what the voters think make a good TE. It's regarding what has happened the entire season (so that "1 good game in week 12" combined with several pretty good games throughout the season adds up.)

Pretty much, QB is the only really really close ballot. Statistically, it's evident that Manning is "the Man" but Lipton has the Victories plus some padded stats. Is Manning the most popular QB in this league? Or do we (the voters) have our subjective viewpoint (based on FACTUAL statistics) that cause us to vote a certain way. In the case of Sexxxy vs. Beast vs. Lewis...the TD differential of Sexxxy vs. Beast is what put my teammate over the top. They were fairly comparable in all other categories. Is this a knock against Beast or Lewis...who is more of a third Tackle in the game? No, not really. It is who I feel is the #1 TE in the game based on the statistics that I feel are important. I could care less who any of you are. If you produce, you get my vote. I (Brunxa) have any votes as a FB. He started late in the season and hasn't done much to warrant any sort of recognition. So I didn't vote for myself...

Just because you feel you are being slighted doesn't necessarily mean that it's biased against you. When I voted, I looked at the stats before me...found which ones I liked the best...then saw the name attached.

Mr. Schust...TO is voted in to the Pro Bowl because TO puts up Pro Bowl numbers. He might be an @$$ off the field, but when he steps on the field, he's a tenacious blocker (for a WR) catches the ball in traffic and is a threat to score every time the ball is in his hands. He's big, fast, catches well, runs decent routes and (generally) opens up the game for whatever team he is playing for. I don't like TO the person...but he gets my vote as a Pro Bowler because he produces.

Michael Vick SUCKS and gets in almost every year.

Last year, Anquan Boldin was tied for the 2nd best #'s in the NFC; yet, he doesn't get in.....

95% no but a Vick does suck and Holt has also missed a pro bowl or two and he was worthy of making it those years.

Vick doesnt suck brings unpredictablitily to the table..if you look at poverall yards his numbers look better and he is in a run first Offense

Look at his turnovers man, Vick may bring unpredictablity, but he injures easily, and often takes unnesacerry risks, causing many turnovers..
