Damn, it was Boomer Sooner who broke my touchdownless, and over 60 yard season*embarrased* I didn't know that..For some reason I was thinking Williams did that to me. Dude your looking at WR stats when you should be looking at CB stats. I was better CB this year

It's harder to do for CB's...but that helps determine if you were truly a shutdown corner...or just a guy with a lot of stats (because your WR caught a lot of passes on you!)

Uh, No your not. I 10X better CB stats than Tye Williams last season, and they did the same thing to me. So, I got attributes that made my player better, and that fixed it all.
When me and you were both on the Wolves at the begginning of the season, you gave up a couple 100 yard games, while I didn't let my reciever touch 60 yards once. You had one more INT than me since you allow your opponent to get more open.

The only problem with the CB rating based on WR stats is the zone defense, which Madden will use sometimes. That is, if CB #1 is in zone and the WR #1 runs a cross or post to the other side of the field and gains twenty yards, is that the CB #1's fault? Similarly, if WR #2 comes into CB #1's zone, the yards should be counted against CB #1, not CB #2. It's impossible to recoginize these situations from stats, and very diffucult to follow in PBP unless simmers spend time religiously studying every replay.
