1st down - Handoff to Clayton, he pushes it up the middle, and manages 4.
2nd and 6 - Shotgun, Banks motions right, quick release to the right to Fitzgerald, and Reid has him shut down tight.
3rd down - Lucas drops back, thrown over the middle, and Fitz catches it for 17 yards and the first first down of the Third Season!
1st down - Handoff to Clayton on the draw, he goes up the middle, gets some good blocking, and a DL catches him 12 yards downfield.
1st down - Lucas drops back, throws it left, and it's complete to the Surge 21 to Salaam.
1st down - Handoff to Clayton, he goes right, and picks up 6 on the counter play.
2nd down - Toss right to Clayton, he gets past the first, spins out of a tackle, but Wilber brings him down right after that.
1st down and goal from the 10 - Handoff to Clayton up the middle, and he gets pummled by Wilber Davis for a loss of 3.
2nd down and 13 - Split backs, Lucas throws left, and it soars over the head of Deuce.
3rd down and goal from the 13 - Shotgun, Lucas takes his time, throws it over the middle, and Salaam juked Jackson to get wide open for the... Touchdown!
XP is up, and it's good!

Kickoff - From near the 10, LV brings it to the 32.
1st down - Handoff to Vick, he goes right, breaks a tackle, and picks up 6.
2nd down - Toss left to Vick, he steamrolls a defender, but there is another one right behind him and he's stopped for no gain.
3rd down - Lipton steps back, throws it, and it's incomplete. Didn't really see it.
4th down - Punt is up, from the 24, returned to the 40.

2nd down - Lucas steps back, throws it over the middle, and Salaam gets it again for 6.
1st down - Lucas steps back, thrown over the middle, and caught again for 12.
1st down - Handoff to Clayton up the middle, and Davis gets his fifth tackle of the game already only in the first quarter.
2nd down and 9 - Handoff to Clayton, Davis stops him again. His sixth tackle as Clayton burst through the middle.
3rd and 4 - Lucas drops waaaayyy back, under pressure, and throws it away.
4th down - 48 yard FG attempt is up, and it's short by about 5 yards.

1st down from the 38 - Lipton steps back, throws the hail mairy, and it's.... CAUGHT! Torry Holt! 62 yard TD as he beat Tye Hill on the deep play.

End of Q1
2nd down and 2 - Draw play to Clayton up the middle, and he gets maybe 4 yards.
1st down - Handoff to Clayton up the middle, and he's stopped behind the line as they had good penetration for a loss of 2.
2nd down and 12 - Handoff to Clayton, he goes left, and gets smashed again, but at least gets back what he lost last time.
3rd and 10 - Lucas steps back, throws it right, and it's... Intercepted! Short screen pass to Fitzgerald, and Smith jumped it!!!! There's no one in front of him, and he... COULD... GO.... ALL... THE.... WAY.... TOUCHDOWN! 47 yard return by John Smith! I thought everyone said last year was a fluke...
