My Madden Disc is all scrathed up to the point where my PS2 won't even recognize it. What can I do to fix it?

there are a few CD fixing things you can buy. Basically you spray an alcohol based spray and wipe it with a soft cloth. I think there is a thing called CD-Doctor or something like that

Just a question, how long have you had your PS2? Becuase I've got a theory that they're programmed to last around two years, depending on how often you play. I once had this problem with Madden (2003 at the time), but once I got a new PS2 it was (and still is) fine.

My other games still work. |

Jordan your right I bought My first one right away, it lasted 2 years then it got Disk Read Errors, bought a second one 2 years later Disk Read Errors again, So now I have a 360

I got my PS2 when it first came out. It still works fine.
Of course, I mostly play pirat>>>>>> um. I mean, backed up games now, but that's a whole different story.

Ok try to clean out your PS2. My brothers didn't work for awhile, then my bro showed me how to clean out my PS2 and it worked like new. Also ask around at a local E.B Games or something of that nature to see if there are places availble that will clean disks. theres a place where I live that cleans disks to get rid of scratches for 4$

My big PS2 just died on me a couple of days ago. So i am using the slim one but everything is all good now

Jordan your right I bought My first one right away, it lasted 2 years then it got Disk Read Errors, bought a second one 2 years later Disk Read Errors again, So now I have a 360 All you do is take the top off(If you still have it) then, you take the screws off the top of the little CD drive to where you can see the CD when you push the Blue button to see it go in. Then, you will see the eye of the lens in there. And you take a cutip and clean it off. Then get the 2 pieces back and it should work 100%. I had a PS2 do this forever.(Opening day) Then, I decided to get a smaller one so I didn't have to do that every 3 months. |
