I'm in the middle of creating a new hockey site, to add a second league under my belt. It's already been created, but I'm not giving out the url until it's completely ready. Also, NHL 07 doesn't come out for about a week, so I can't put the Create a Player thread up either. I'm just wondering what you'd like to see on that site, so go ahead and shoot off suggestions to me.
Just so you know, it will be a point task league.

could sound stupid but you could have like shoot outs before the draft so you can see who has the best shot sortta thing(and it'll give goalies a chance to show off)

The only other hockey league I've been in is the SHL, and it's the most boring sim league ever. Please tell me you'll have performance points.

It's a point task league, meaning you have to do graphics, media spots, etc.

ugh point tasks leagues never work for very long. check out the ESHL for a point task league

What about the RFSL? It's a point task league, and going into it's 6th season. Also, it lets the active people do better than the inactive ones.

ive never been on a hockey sim league..well played a game in 1
joined SHL couple of days ago havent been picked up as a FA and it seems pretty boring

I dont like this idea. It makes it so if you are going to go on a 2 week vacation you lose out. This league is fun because you can go away and come back and still be the same player. Maybe just make active players get incentives, but point tasks are dumb.

It adds a whole new perspective to the league. You don't need to be the most active person, coming on once a week is good enough to have a good player.

I might join, but for somereason I like to play goalie in leagues. let me know all the details when it is almost ready to be published and get the site running then I will make a decsion

I've got the site completely created, with a skin that I made myself, but NHL 07 doesn't come out until next Thursday. I'll release the site as soon as I can put the forms on there.
