I first joined a GM league because of a guy taht went by "pimpdup" on the Atlanta Falcons' message board, we started a GM league, and ran through two of them before we got a solid one that ran 3 seasons. Eventually, someone posted the MSFL in our affiliates section, and lo and behold, I've gotten into about 3 different leagues.

Trav posted his baseball league on the About.com Baseball Forum and I got into my first sim league there

My friend told me about the SHL and I thought it was a pretty cool concept. The SHL went on for a good amount of time, but it died. While I was in the SHL, Ty Summers told me about the FSL so I joined.
