I doubt we're taking Paul Quach, sure he'd be GM worthy with Diop ! but We already have 3 CB's, and we have 5 players on defense

Changed up a bit with the knowledge of Ryan Donovan switching to DeMetrius Jackson and Diop, young CBs are very moldable, you could switch them to OLB or Safety

I don't think Pete Speedy'll go that high either He announced he wouldn't be active with the original Pete Speedy, I doubt he'll be much differed here

I can pretty much guarantee we won't be taking the players you've posted.
What would we do with another TE?

I can pretty much guarantee we won't be taking the players you've posted. What would we do with another TE? well you fixed most of your problems in FA, so I wasn't really sure what you guys would draft. As for TE, you can always use a backup to Beast or have him play in the minors

Well, I can safely tell you now that the first thing we were looking for was a fourth linebacker. We considered the crop extremely thin, so we looked around and found a standout candidate for conversion in SS Kris Carter. He was leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else on our draft chart at that position, so we couldn't possibly pass him up. He was our top target and I'm very glad he fell to us.

i was looking to pick up Kris Carter. had it not been for the fact that we lost our RB then i would have picked him

Kobe was the Sharks #1 player on our draft board. I didnt figure he would make it to the 7th pick in the draft.

I knew ahead of time that I would not need to select a QB or RB in the draft, despite what others believed, which allowed me to keep my intentions shrouded in mystery. I knew that a third CB would become a need once the draft began, and I knew I would need a WR with both of my starting WRs in the final years of their contracts.

Tye came up with a solution to his QB situation which was brilliant in its conception and flawless in its execution. A truly exquisite plan. How he came up with that stroke of genius, I'll never know.

And... we did indeed target a wide receiver as our second priority. There is a controversy around free agent acquisition Allen Miller, and while I have every confidence the issue will be favorably resolved and he will be in blue and gold come week one, a wise GM always plans for contingencies. Peter Speedy was still available, but his activity pushed him rather low on our draft board. We were prepared to draft CB Kobe Egan or Paul Quach and ask them to convert before picking Speedy. Luckily that wasn't necessary.
If Allen Miller is ready to go, Manny Lawson will be provided an opportunity to play for us as a backup receiver and represent us in the minor leagues. If not, Lawson will be offered a major-league contract and will move up the depth chart based on his activity.
