Even though I would not be a part of it, not to mention be against it altogether, I think the Player's Union is a good idea. For example, with what happened to Baker, I'm sure he had to feel all what happened was a result of the management just hating him, instead of it being a logical decision. The Player's Union gives the players a voice, and while it may not have power on the board, it would have power in it's own right.

Several problems...GM's/DA Bear say no. The second...what good is a players union in a SIMULATION LEAGUE? Really, c'mon guys. Besides, what good would a Players Union do?
Lets assume that this asinine idea was to take place. You would then have players in the union...and those out of it. Me, personally, I'm out...and there are several others who probably think like I do (which is to say that they are reasonable individuals...and don't resort to F#$K this person or that person.)
You now have a players union...something goes wrong...half the league (being generous here) is in the union and decides to what...hold out? Then, Da Bear either brings in "replacement" players to fill in the gaps...and you all lose stats. Guys like me get to make a jump in the stats (getting better attributes) and end up being superstars because a few people think that a Simulated Players Union would have any sort of "Power" in a Sim League.
The Players union is an illusionary attempt at "stopping" issues when there really aren't that many issues to stop. The real problem in this league (and all other Sim Leagues) is that there are too many immature IDIOTS talking smack and spamming threads with their stupidly immature posts.
