The Los Angeles Falcons and tight end Alex Banks have agreed to a three year, $10.5 million contract that will keep the three year veteran off the free agent market. The deal is structured as follows:

3 years, $10.5 M total

Season 4: $3 M
Season 5: $3.5 M
Season 6: $4 M

Tye Williams: This is a great signing for the Falcons. He has been a valuable asset for the past three years, and we wanted to reward him for his service with this deal. We look forward to having him play in Los Angeles for the next three years!

Good job in locking him up, Tye. I don't know that he would have found very many lucrative jobs as a TE, but I know that if he'd followed up on his plan of retiring his player and creating a new one, he'd have been a highly sought rookie at any position.
