Bullshit. That's not how it worked last season, and there has been no announcement regarding a change. The free agency period is open right now for anyone not under contract. Players under contract with player/GM options will be made available later, depending on the outcome of their options.
Players were required to declare their options sometime during the FA period, before the draft. GMs could elect to drop player options even after the draft.

That's stupid. GMs and teams have to make decissions about the options. GMs, teams, and playyers make their decissions about availability and open roster spots, how can they do that with no deadline on options.

There are deadlines on options. Players have to declare they're picking up their options before the draft, or they automatically decline them and become free agents. This is one way we weed out inactives. It's also how King became a free agent in the first place.
GMs have to declare their options before the start of training camp. If they put the player through training camp, they've essentially signed off on the option, and are on the hook for half the salary if they drop them afterwards.

Okay, this is really unfair. Why can you decide when Free Agency starts? We never decided when Free agency starts. And I believe that we have a 12 hour thing in which you can't sign. Meaning this is an invalid contract.
And you seem to have no idea about what has happened with King's player.

There has been no official ruling on retirement dates. Plus, Cwizz did not play in season 3, and was buried on the Falcons' depth chart in season 2 (hence you'll find no stats on him), so it can be argued he's only going into his second season. Another item to think about... team training. His player has never been updated with that, so he'll get a full rookie training camp with us. In the words of Captobvious: Bullshit and Bullshit He played season 2. He had team training.

Which I also consider ridiculous. BTW, Capt, I take what I said about this being unfair. You can have CWizz if it means I get to keep XY.

Meaning this is an invalid contract. And you seem to have no idea about what has happened with King's player. 1) I didnt decide anything. This has always been how the league works. Free agency starts when the Pro Bowl is over. Contrary to the impression being given by some around here, this is not the league's first offseason. 2) The 12 hour rule is for new free agents. Chris King has been a free agent for at least 2 months.

Ty was out of line when he did that, too. Dabearfan originally said he'd be sending out mass emails before anyone got retired. Since that hasn't been done yet, none of the inactives are retired yet.

Also how do you decide what I do and don't do. I really like all ya'll teams, but I really wanna know about my player first. Everything about it because I wasn't here since season 1.

Forget it. This contract is dissolved. The Dawgs will table another offer at a later date, once Ty has selected a free agency beginning date that's advantageous for him.
