I downloaded some videos from X-Box Live marketplace with interviews from the Lead Producer of Madden 07 David Ortiz(No Joke). First the lead blocker control enables you to take control of a linemen or FB and make blocks for your RB and you can switch back to the RB at anytime or keep controlling the blocker. Also in franchise and superstar mode when your player gets injured you can put him in rehab to get him back sooner but if you do too much you'll aggravate the injury and he'll be out for even longer. Also the NFL Superstar mode, to determine players abilities you take him through a series of mini games in a NFL combine atmosphere. And since this is the year of the runningback each runningback has their own style. Like the Highlight stick enables you to do jukes and such. But for this version it works differently for each RB. If your Warrick Dunn he is going to try and evade tackles with the Highlight stick, but with someone like a Jamal Lewis they are going to run over tacklers. It looks awesome. I can't wait for MAdden 07. Hopefuly these features are put into the Ps2 Version.

I simmed through till 2014 in my Superstar mode and my guy is the starting 7'0" monster WR

He has 4 Superbowl rings (3 with the Seahawks, 1 with the Cowboys)

I love career modes as long as there done right. To fix this version they need to make it so that you can only control your player. Like if your a QB you cannot control your RB when he runs it or when your WR catches it you can't control him. Give it a more realistic feel. And when your on the sidelines you and your QB coach look at photos of what you did wrong and what the defense did.

And if your player does bad and goes on the bench he loses stats, but if he does really good and plays the whole game he gets stats. Something like that.

I would like an Experience points system. If you can a certain amount of XP points (Gained by pass comps, TD passes, passing yards, etc. for each position) you gain a level and get some points to spend on stuff.

In Madden 07 you will control only your player on superstar mode, as a receiver you have to run your route and if you are open you'll get the ball. You don't decide the playes and only play when the offense or defense is on, whichever you are on. I'm really looking forward to the game, but it doesn't get released over here until the 24th.

That sounds a lot better than the old system. The only thing I wish it had was a "Sim to next appearance" feature. They used that in the old MLB 2006 (not "The Show"), and it was wonderful, I played half an inning and my at-bat, games were like 20 minutes long
