Well I was thinking it meant like
If your legs burst into flames you won't be blocking a fire exit, which doesn't make sense

and it doesn't make sense due to it's total irrelevance to the interview

A lot of people who teach public speaking/speech classes tell you the best way to open any topic is with a joke. It helps loosen up the crowd.

just a post on the internet doesn't do it much justice. Mitch Hedberg was a hilarious comedian who excelled at one-liners and timing. He made stupid stuff seem funny. Hold on, I'll find a video
