Good thing Manning doesn't have an incentive for player of the week. He just won 3 of them!

No, although that isn't a bad idea... I do think that it would be a decent idea...since it's hard to get points anyway. Since one person will probably win half of the categories....It wouldn't be bad to give the player either 1 or 2 points for every award he wins.

How about you would only be able to get points for 1 award that week. PotW would be 3, offensive/defensive player of the week would be 2, and offensive/defensive player of the week for your conferenace would be 1. You would get the points for the best award you got, but nothing else.

I think thats a bad idea because between offseason purchases and training camps and performance points and everything else you can get points for we have more than enough opportunities to get attributes we don't reall need another.

It's not a bad idea... The only counter argument would be that after a couple of wins...some guys would have the stats to make them perennial winners of the awards.
The way it's set up only three players can win on any given week.
POW will take 3 categories. POW O/D POW and Conference POW
if OPOW is gone, then next guy would take DPOW and DPOW for conference only leaving on available slot.
Still, I like the idea. (I'll never see it as a FB...but that's ok...I just wanna win games and flatten people!)
