We won't stop doing anything, we'll just be thinking about it in the back of our minds.

I say we continue on as normal, as to show the perpetrators they can't as much as slow us down.

I'll be observing a moment of silence and adding the victim's familes to my prayer list tonight. We must never forget those who died needlessly that day at the hands of thugs nor should we forget the bravery of those onboard United Flight 93 for their courage and selflessness in taking on the terrorists and winning that small battle. In death, they are all heros. God Bless them all!!!!!!

If we don't sim football games, the terrorists win. Undermining sim football is at the core of their doctrine.

i honestly beive that this day means nothing, to me at least. This whole unifying of america is the biggest pile of bullshit ever. face it after 5 years it's over lay a wreath ay a prayer and get on with your life. i have seen the consequences of this action first hand and you at home sitting there watching football could not possibly grip the amount of suffering the USA home of free protectors of justice etc have done to this poor people of iraq and afghanistan. the civillian death totals are huge and i ashamed to say i had any part in it
we are not the solution we are the cause of civvilain deaths, suffering and torture
you people need to open your eyes and look trought the other end of the telescope

He's got a point. I was watching a Discovery Channel bit on "The Price of Security" last night, wherein Ted Koppell attempted to kick off the long-overdo debate about whether the actions we're taking as a nation are helping or hurting our cause.
For me, it all comes down to this: the "war on terror" is an ideological war. The terrorists stand by their ideals. If we don't stand by ours, then they'll win. When we start unnecessary wars, when we throw people in jail indefinitely without due process, and when we torture, we are abrogating our ideals, and becoming more like the thing we're fighting.
Our compassion, our respect for human rights and liberties, our respect for national and international law, and our tolerance of other cultures is what makes us different from our enemies. We have to embrace that. 9/11 gave us the moral high ground, but we've since squandered it. We need to recapture that again.

War'll never stop, there will always be some guy who thinks his life is best served blowing up, and itll never stop, we should all just leave them or like drop an A-bomb in there if you want to totally nuetralize the problem, that's the only way I can see
And wtf are you talking about ESPN? Why are you putting down your own people
