The boston red sox signed OF J.D. Drew to a 5 year deal worth 70 million dollars on tuesday.
They also signed SS Julio Lugo to a 4 year deal worth 36 Million Dollars.
Once they sign Daisuke Matsuzaka, the Red Sox will be an excellent team, possibly a favorite to win the world series.

We don't have that great of pitching staff as they are usually plagued by injuries. Crisp is good but not great and he is injury proned. NO MAN RAM, NO CHANCE

Pitching, pitching, pitching. JD Drew represents a solid bat for the middle of the order, which would help them if they unloaded Manny for some pitching. But since Theo's pricetag on Manny is retarded, it's not going to happen. Drew and Lugo can't pitch.

i think its funny that they re-signed alex gonzolez and then went out and signed jugo. and its not they r paying lugo to play back up... they are gave him a 40mil 4 year deal
