The Good News: My team, the Quince Orchard Cougars JV Football team, is 4-0, and we beat Damascus, 28-12.
The Bad News: Yours truly, once again, did not play. I have not played a single down, and is on the 3rd Team Offense and Defense.

In my HS we didnt allow Freshmen to play JV or Varsity bc our choaches wante dthe Freshmen class to develop a bond and stick together. I easily started my Freshmen year and as a Sophomore I earned a starting Varsity job 2 games into the season and as a Jr and Sr I was All-State

I don't play football, because the coach hates me for punching a freshman in the face in my sophomore year.

my team is 1-4 but it's a little misleading cause we are a d3 team playing division 1 teams plus we didn't have the best back in the state for two and a hale of those games. Just Google Nathan Sherr you'll see what i mean I play special teams and would start JV but im not allowed to play cause i'm a senior so i'm a backup that gets a decnet amount of playing time on the o line

I wanted to be TE, where Id be 3rd behind a Junior and Sophomore. But noooooooooooooo, they said Im too slow. But I'll show em next year. In the meantime, I'll update as soon as possible.

No doubt, Wilber...what's the deal? Mott seems to be making a serious effort at turning over a new leaf. He come on these boards and admitted something that most people wouldn't have admitted to. Besides, you are an adult...talking down to a HS kid. What's that say about you?
Mott, be patient, some people are "late bloomers". In HS I was 6'0 164 when I graduated. Coaches had me playing several positions. I had the bone structure of most of our TE's...but not the muscle mass. I played TE/FL and Wingback on Offense. On D I played mostly DE...but was at OLB and both Safety positions frequently. I was also the backup punter. I was (by no means) an all-star at any position. By the time I had turned 21 I was up to 210. I blossomed up to 250 and have trimmed down to 230. I just bloomed late. A little too late for my "football career" but that's ok. Life worked out.
Play hard, have fun...and if u don't end up in the NFL, so what? There isn't one person on this site that had a remote chance of going there.

Thanks for the support, Xfl. I did get to play on Saturday for the first time all season. Only 3 plays, but I savored it. We won, 43-7. No stats for me.

I start as a freshman in JV and Varsity, the coaches really had no choice but to start me, they loved the way my uncle (FB - Willie Wise, he was like Jim Brown at FB ) and my cousin played (RB- Demetrius Summers, just google him and look at his HS stats), I had the fastest 40 times 4.42 with the wind and a 4.35 against it (dunno how) and my grandad would've cussed someone out if I dind't start :-\
