He's a 4th corner and a 2nd safety. He'll play more safety. I don't see how he'll play more safety. S2's only sniff the field on special teams or as the fifth CB in quarter packages. You just want him to get more points per deflection  |

You're both on crack. Where did you get the idea that SS2/FS2s never come on the field until as a CB5? I suppose I'm going to have to flip through formations tonight to prove that one wrong.
CB4 is a starter?? Are you kidding??

On the game CB4 is a starter, Try it, put your SS1 at CB4 it'll say "Player can not start twice on defense" but if he was a SS2 and went to CB4 he'd be fine on the game because SS2 isn't a starter |

Linebackers do that sometimes, too. Should we put you in with the corners?
The formation calls upon whoever happens to be occupying the SS2 spot in the depth chart... therefore, he's a safety.
