Name the person you should be in there over, oh great cornerback for the second worst defense in the league. Its ridicoulus. Its our LBs not our secondary. The running game is killing us. I should be over most people. I mean the 4th Cb doesn't even have an INT. Alright...I'm gonna address this cuz I'm a little tired of the blame the LB's get on the Falcons. I'm not gonna say we are a GREAT LB group, but we hold our own. The ONLY RB that has really killed us is Vick...that dude just owns us. He has over 600yds rushing on us...Without him our opponents are under 1000yds rushing against us. What really kills our defense is ..... our offense. Our offense keeps the defense on the field the WHOLE game. An offense that goes 2/15 on 3rd down isn't helping the LB's or the DB's. Leroy...I wanted to address this, because this is at LEAST the 3rd time you've thrown OUR defense under the bus in an attempt to prop yourself up. Our "D" has holes...but we ain't as bad as you say.

Silas: I'll buy that for a dollar. But there was an exception tonight. When I simmed your game, the offense turned the ball over as usual, but they also spent a whole lot of time with the ball before doing so. As I mentioned in the stats thread, the Falcons led the Surge in time of possession at halftime by about 5 minutes... and a quarter is only 6. Part of that is that the Falcons offense was sustaining drives, but didn't close the deal every time (55 yard FG attempt missed, INT in endzone). The other part of that is that the defense as a unit was pretty much getting out of the way of the Surge players. Their scoring possessions in the first half were 3 plays, 1 play, 7 plays, and 4 plays. The other one was a fumble return which doesn't count against the D.
The only player on that whole defense who really looked good to me out there tonight was Tye Williams. Aside from the one big catch-and-run to his side by Steeves, he had an outstanding night against him. He was knocking down balls, or knocking down players and making them drop it. If they did manage to hang on, he stopped them in their tracks. He showed up pretty well in run support, too. His number kept coming up all game long.
Other than him... linebackers and defensive backs... nobody else really showed up. Of course, this is the Surge. Nobody really stops them. You just try to slow them down.

HE gave up 2 Tds and I gave up none to Jackson

Morris caught all his balls on your side of the field, Jenkins. And there's no way you guys were in man coverage every single time. Neither you nor Holbrook were anywhere near him.
