Hello everybody, this is the first edition of The Gridiron with Baker. I was handed the show today by Leroy Jenkins. I know most of you think i should not have been given this show, and that I'm just going to bomb it. But i would like to prove everyone wrong. So here it goes. There is a lot of News today, Week 2 of the league kicked off with the Dawgs hosting the Sharks. After the big loss the Dawgs suffered against the underdog Cougars last week, they were looking to bounce back. But that didn't happen. They got knocked around for the second week in a row. The final score was 56-31!! But the stats don't show that much of a margin. The Sharks had 434 total offensive yards, while the Dawgs had 415. David Manning was named the player of the game with a phenomenal outing. He had a 148.1 rating, 343yds, 6 td, and a 65% completion rating. Both teams got the work done through the air. DeBomb had a great game also, 400 yards and 3 TDs, but he threw two very crucial INTs to Jenkins and Moos. Now the Dawgs find themselves in a big hole as they go into week 3 with a 0-2 record. Wilber Davis has came out today and said there is no way that he is picking up his option for season 3. He said he is going to finish the season with the Falcons and then sign with the Surge after the season. I don't know why Camell Clayton will not just trade him, so at least the Falcons get someone out of this whole thing. Well that is it for todays news. So I'm out. Thank you.

It seems you have changed alot since you came back, what was the decideing factor in this change?...........good show btw

there are rumors you want out of LA, any truth to that? Well you see its not that i want out of LA, its more of that i think i have a better opportunity in Colorado!! |

Well it appears you want out of LA to go to Colorado, correct? you do realize you would leaving the Falcons, your co-captian spot of the Blackshirts and walking out on the team.

I personally think John Lynch looks better in Blue and Orange.  Also, caz won't trade me to the Surge for Trav Man. I also have a no-trade clause so he can only trade me to who I want to be traded to. |
