We were playing paintball on the 4 wheelers like always on Wednesday afternoon, and I was driving our best 4 wheeler, and my friend was on the back and he was the main gunner, and I just had one of my guns as a backup, but I get onto my friends trail and hes heading for straight for the swamp, and his gunner is shooting us and I see them exploding on the front but were not hit, so were almost to the swamp and I start to turn to cut him off thinking he won't drive my brand new 4 wheeler across 2 inches of water, well he does, and we physically cant get it out. We cant get a winch hooked up now, because my swamp has like 6 inches of water and the 4wheeler is partially frozen into the ice, so we can't get it out with a truck, this blows, you can't play midnight paintball with 7 4wheelers, (not all mine  ) it just works so much better with 8  |

Man, I have to work for my money. Why you get to sit back and just watch your parents buy you about 4 or 5 four wheelers and have the extra money to afford tons of Paint Ball equipment.
I mean, comeon, what has the world came too? What do your parents do? I mean, I can't afford a good computer...I have to unlock it about 3 times a day...Why did I have to be the one to go through this poor piss life, and not live the dream you are?

Kris, its not your fault, and I wouldn't call your life piss pore, are you stuck in a wheel chair, and are mentally handicapped? Your talented at basketball, you seem to have a lot of friends, and you seem to have some girls that like you, so you must be doing something right. And only 2 of those 4 wheelers are mine 1's my dads 2 are my friends 2 are another friends 1's an uncles and... Most of my paintball guns I've bought myself, with the exception of 1-2 maybe that I've got as presents. And my dad owns a construction company, mom works at my school as some sort of counselor deal, don't really pay attention. You just have to keep working at it though. My dad lost his dad when he was 2 and his step dad when he was 15. He didn't quit and hes turned out to have a very successful life. Just remember kris, your young. Have fun with it, I don't do anything seriously, my life is just about hanging out with friends, and other people that are close to me. Whether its hunting or just chillin at my house. One thing I can say that makes life so much better is don't drink don't do drugs. I never have and never will. It just makes life a little better when you don't have to worry about where your going to get shit faced next. My house is what you would call the party central (most my friends hate it cause its in the boonies ) but I like that too, because I don't let anyone drink here. My parents like it because theya re in control of the situation, even if there upstairs and we have the rest of the house and outside to do whatever we want, at least they know whats going on what Im doing etc.. |

Good deal Trav. sounds like you have fun (and cleanly at that!) KJ, I'm in the same boat as you (financially) only I've gone from being the second oldest of 6 kids (single mom raising us) to being a father of 4. If it were just me, I'd probably be loaded with "toys" lol. As it is, I have a living room of toys...but they're the kids bought from local flea markets/thrift stores! lol

Kris: You can't control your financial situation now, so there's no point in moaning about it. All you can do is accept it and make the best of it... for now. Then use this as a motivation to do better for yourself once you DO control it.
I was dirt poor as a kid, too. This year I'm set to top six-figures in gross income.

Suburb life not what it used to be eh donovan? lol, whenever i get money, i just go waste it all like a week later buying videogames and stuff haha. Like, my grandma gives me $100 for christmas, 1st day i go to the mall ill blow it on DVDs and stuff. Also, when i worked before summer last year, i made like $200 one week, and already had 70, and immediatly went to buy a 250+ dollar MP3 player haha. quite the storys... |
