The Cougars are still getting ready for the season, and should therefore be considered to be in the offseason. I agree. No, the season has started

No, the season has started Fine. If you want to be that way, then we should have a deadline for player updates for the week. If the season began when the first game started, then all player updates done since then must be backed out until next week. And that also means that, since the week already started, Steeves is still retired and is ineligible to play in week one.

Besides, just because the season started, doesn't mean it started for everyone. For example, Silver Fox only just posted his purchases, yet he's going to get those points to start in week one. Meanwhile, my guy Woodson had to play his first game without his purchases despite getting them in two days sooner. This illustrates my point... the teams who have not yet played a game still have the luxury of getting ready for their first game, a luxury the teams who have already played do not enjoy. If we were simming a whole week in 1-2 days it wouldn't be an issue, but we're not. That's just the way the cookie crumbles, if you guys wanted to have the sim later so you guys could possibly get another purchase then you could of

We have enough trouble getting games simmed without GMs pushing for unnecessary delays. I just don't see how you can say the season started and still get an additional calendar week to get your team ready for it. Hell, at the time of the Panthers - Dawgs game, several teams were still totally unprepared to start the season. Are we now giving incentives for being a lazy GM?

Well, it does say once a player retires during the season, it does not say when the season starts for that teams.. and the season 4 should start when the first season 4 game is played..

Because otherwise, once teams have started locking up post-season games...we'll just start the playoffs for those teams...regardless of what regular season games are being playerd.
